Sellevate
Fashion E-commerce

Fashion marketing built for returns, sizing and season.

Marketing for Australian fashion and apparel brands. Fashion has economics no generalist agency plans for, return rates, size uncertainty, seasonal drops and a repeat cycle measured in weeks. We build for those, not around them.

What’s included

Creative built for apparel
Fit, movement and styling shown on real people. Flat-lay statics lose to creator video in apparel almost every time, the customer needs to see it worn.
Size & returns strategy
Returns are the margin killer in fashion. Size guidance, fit reviews and honest product copy reduce them, and that shows up as profit rather than revenue.
Drop & season campaigns
Launch calendars built around your drops, with warm-up, launch and sell-through phases, plus end-of-season clearance planned so it doesn’t train customers to wait for sales.
Collection SEO
Category and style-led collection pages built to rank for how people actually search, garment, style, occasion, fit, rather than internal product names.
Retention & repeat purchase
Apparel has a natural repeat cycle. Flows built around wardrobe-building, restock and new-drop notification turn one purchase into a habit.
Creator partnerships
Fashion is the most creator-driven category on the internet. Our network delivers styling content at the volume paid social needs.

What generalist agencies get wrong in fashion

They ignore the return rate

Scaling revenue while returns climb is scaling a loss. Fashion needs contribution-margin reporting after returns, not gross ROAS.

They use product shots only

Apparel sells on how it looks worn and moving. Static-only accounts consistently underperform creator-led video.

They flatten the season

Fashion demand is spiky and calendar-driven. A flat always-on budget misses the drop and overspends in the lull.

They treat one purchase as the goal

In apparel the second and third purchase is where the profit is. Acquisition without retention just rents customers.

Fashion SEO agency work, what it actually covers.

Fashion SEO is the part of fashion ecommerce marketing most labels skip, because drops move faster than rankings and the wholesale side never needed it. It is also where the cheapest orders in the category come from once it is built, so it sits inside our fashion work rather than being sold as a separate retainer.

A fashion SEO agency engagement with us covers the collection architecture first: category by gender by occasion, with each collection carrying real words rather than a grid, because that is what ranks for the searches with buying intent. Then the seasonal problem, where every drop gets a new URL and the old one dies with its rankings; we keep persistent collection URLs and rotate the products inside them. Then product data, size and fit content that answers the questions that stop a purchase, and image SEO, because a large share of fashion discovery happens in image results. Finally the wholesale question, where a label’s own site competes with its stockists for its own product names, and the structure that lets the brand win those searches.

For Shopify labels the platform traps are handled under Shopify SEO, and the wider practice is described on the ecommerce SEO page. The creative that fashion SEO needs for product and category pages comes from the UGC creator network, shot on real people rather than mannequins.

Reported in

Organic revenue by collection from your store admin and positions from Search Console, every month, against the day-one baseline.

Honest limit

Fashion head terms belong to national retailers. The long tail of occasion, fit and material searches is where a label wins, and it takes months, not weeks.

Frequently asked questions

Do you work with small fashion labels?

Yes, from launch through to established brands. The plan is scoped to your stage; a label doing its first A$30K months needs different work to one pushing past A$2M.

Can you help reduce our return rate?

Marketing can meaningfully influence it: better fit guidance, honest sizing, clearer product copy and creator content showing real bodies all reduce returns. It won’t fix a genuine product-fit problem, and we’ll say so if that’s what we see.

How do you handle seasonal drops?

Campaigns are planned in phases, warm-up to build the list, launch to convert it, then sell-through. The email list does most of the work on drop day if it’s been built properly beforehand.

Which channels work best for fashion?

Usually Meta and TikTok for discovery, email for repeat, and SEO for the evergreen category demand underneath it all. The mix depends on your price point and margin.

Do you take fashion SEO on its own, without ads or email?

Yes, when the store already converts and the label wants organic revenue built. The audit reads your Search Console and store admin first and tells you honestly whether SEO is the next dollar or whether something else is leaking, because a fashion SEO retainer on a store with a broken size guide is money spent in the wrong place.

How long before fashion SEO shows results?

Technical and architecture fixes can move rankings inside weeks. Collections written for occasion, fit and material searches usually show in three to six months. Category head terms against national retailers depend on authority and take longer, which is why we report against a baseline every month rather than promising a date.
